Surah Al-A'raaf : 100
أَوَلَمْ يَهْدِ لِلَّذِينَ
يَرِثُونَ الأَرْضَ مِن بَعْدِ أَهْلِهَا أَن لَّوْ نَشَاء أَصَبْنَاهُم
بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَنَطْبَعُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لاَ يَسْمَعُونَ
Adakah (yang demikian itu tersembunyi dan) tidak jelas kepada orang-orang yang mewarisi negeri itu sesudah penduduknya (hilang lenyap kerana ditimpa bencana), bahawa kalau Kami kehendaki tentulah Kami akan menimpakan mereka pula dengan azab disebabkan dosa-dosa mereka, dan Kami meteraikan di atas hati mereka sehingga mereka tidak dapat mendengar (nasihat-nasihat pengajaran)?
Is it not an indication to those who inherit the land after its people ( who thus reaped the consequence of evil doing ) that , if We will , We can smite them for their sins and print upon their hearts so that they hear not?
继先民之后而为大地的主人公的人们，假若我意欲，我必因他们的罪恶而惩治他们；并且封闭他们的心，故他们不听劝谏。难道他们不明白这个道理吗？
